At Refuge Church, we believe the following foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

That there is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This triune is commonly known as The Trinity.

In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son, Jesus was both human and alive.

That man willingly fell into sin, ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual death, into the world.

That everyone can be restored and have fellowship with God by way of salvation, through faith and repentance, and trusting Him to be their personal Lord and Savior.

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is a special experience that follows salvation and it empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times.

That the divine healing of the sick is provided for in the atonement of Christ (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins) and that it is a privilege for Christians today.

That Jesus is soon to return for His children!
We will live and dwell with Him in Heaven forever, following His millennial reign on Earth. We believe He is preparing a Heavenly home for all who have accepted Him as their Savior.
